of a
happy heart,
hundreds, thousands
of vees.
Alone,
tiny
and
trivial.
Together, a whole.
-
Sky blue backdrop
for a cloud of silk
and sheep
and satisfaction.
-
An unbound end,
unfinished.
Hours of work,
and for what?
Pride?
One mistake,
one misstep,
unfinished becomes
undone.
Unraveled.
-
Like a life,
built day
by day,
a scarf is built
stitch by stitch.
As a scarf
may be unraveled,
so a life
may be destroyed.
-
And yet,
renewed, refreshed,
remade,
a tangle
of yarn, given tools,
may become
again a scarf,
or a hat,
or a sweater.
Beginning with a vee,
and then two,
and then three.
Very well written! Such vivid descriptions!
